Calendar changes

  • Formula E will make its debut in South Korea. A street circuit in Seoul has been named as the planned venue.
  • The London ePrix will return to the calendar for the first time since the 2015–16 season and host a double-header finale to the 2019–20 season. The event will be held at ExCeL London.
  • The Diriyah ePrix will begin the season a month earlier in November as a double header, and the First ePrix on a Friday.
  • The Swiss ePrix (held in Bern in the previous season) will not be returning as the race was a one-off. The event may return in the future from a different location.
  • The Monaco ePrix will not return for this season as the event is run biennially.
  • The New York City ePrix will become a single race event for the first time and will not be the last race of the season as it has in previous years.
  • The inaugural Jakarta ePrix will take place on 6 June 2020.
  • The Hong Kong ePrix was scheduled to be on the calendar, but will instead be replaced by the returning Marrakesh ePrix due to the ongoing Anti-Extradition Law Amendment Bill movement.
